I was so upset that my country is the only country that doesn't see this animal as food just because its cute. Its a shame my country was invaded by Spaniards for 333 years but they never introduced kunejos as meat. This meat is clean,high in protein,organic and low in fat but people think its wrong to eat it just because its cute. I know its meat in Europe since it was seen as pest by farmers. | |

(a Rant) | | There was a time people describe things with out fear of reprisal from the self righteous, religious so called "Moral Majority". I guess it's because they were to occupied trying to abolish tangible publicly popular products like alcohol and marijuana to even care about the way people say things. I was in a conversation with a fairly educated young college student about the world and the way it has changed greatly within the last three decades. Somewhere in the conversation I used the word "retarded" to describe the real condition of an individual when this kid interrupted in a act of reproving me and says, "mentally challenged". That's when the conversation took a turn, because I'm not going to take a "politically correct" lesson from a snot-nosed, twenty-one year old. I don't know how some of my friends and readers here in MyLot feel about this, but I grew up understanding that descriptive words were used that were not meant to be derogatory such as retarded, handicap, black, white, old, gay, loser, fat, woman, bum, crazy, ghetto, Trash man, housewife, janitor and... woman.I'm getting sick and tired of these retarded, overly-friendly to the environment,... | |
